Sidekick III

I went to the Tmobile store the other day getting ready to upgrade to the SKII but they told me Tmobile is going to have the SKIII coming out in October. They said it will have the bluetooth feature and a slightly different screen.Also the camera will be better and it will also have speakerphone like the SKII. They didn't have the pictures of it yet but they said Oct.

Has anyone else heard of this?

October sounds reasonable based on 2 points:

1) I heard in Jan 05 from a company that works with T-Mobile AND Sharp that Sharp was working on a new Sidekick (III). If you assume the usual 12-18 months for a new handset, and that they were working on it for a few months, then October would be possible.

2) October is a good release date for the holiday season.

nice! ... it will cost like $450 ... lol

it shouldnt really retail for that much, but that means that the SKII will have another price drop soon, but i wish i could check out some pics of the new SK, that sucks!

The sidekick is lame.

Get a Motorola A630 instead. It has BlueTooth and a keyboard like the SideKick II (and eventually III) and isn't the size of Rhode Island.

the sidekicks 2's around my way have been droppin price for a while now.

they are $50 so i take it the 3 should be coming out in oct.

Who would like to sneak a peak of the new Sidekick III?

Hey! That's great news ... I was thinking of buying via. net the Danger-Sidekick 2 (coz no one knows it here in Greece where I live) but the 3rd version'll be out -this- Oct.! Amazing! Can't w8 for pics...!

i actually love my SK as a phone.I use my SK more than I have used any of my previous phones.
