SK3 Ringtone + Music Player Q's

Is there a way to get the trackball to light up in unison with music playing?

And I saw in the phone guide that the SK3 will be able to record ringtones....is this possible yet or do i need to wait for a firmware update to enable this. I was also wondering if it would be able to record through the headphone jack, or if only through the mic on the phone.

No, it's not possiable. T-mobile disable that feature because they rather have you pay for ringtones for the phone.

So its in all the manuals, online, in the text, and in the guide within the phone, but its something they "took out?" Does anybody know for sure that its not something they're planning to update with an OTA release?
