I have a friend that already has a cell tower on his building. The provider
wants to add a second tower for WCDMA and extend the lease 15 years. Anyone
on this site have an idea what that would be worth. He is currently getting
$1200 a month for one tower with a 10 year lease.

I don't know from personal experiance but I think he should look at it
    this way.

Will it just be an add on to the existing tower, or will it have it's
own designated space? If it will have designated space and it is the
same size as the existing one, I would go for the same $1200.00 a
month. You figure for the next 15 years He will not have access to
that space for his purposes, so it is worth the money.

If it is for 15 years $1200 will be only pennies to him by then, he will
lose a lot signing a 15 yr contract if the rate is fixed. Also is there
anyone working or living in this building? If it is GSM tower (Do not know
what WCDMA is) they are very unhealthy to be around for any period of time.
It is very hard in Europe to get permission for new towers for that very
    reason.
