Are you aware of the current phone technologies? If you have a TDMA
phone, you may upgrade to a better TDMA phone, upgrade to a GAIT phone,
or upgrade to a GSM phone. Most likely you will not be able to
downgrade from a GSM phone to a TDMA phone, but it depends on the market.
