P900 - Battery Life

After using the phone for about 10 days now, battery life is still rather
bad,
"bellow average use" is just over one day (50 sms on average, 30 minutes
airtime).
I find that in stand by everything seems fine, once the flip is open battery
just
goes down rapidly. I understand that display uses extra current but old
9210i
would last between 2 and 3 days (2 days on really heavy use). Can't sent
phone
to Ericsson for repairs as it is not officially launched (I am in South
Africa at the
moment). Running latest software (internet update).

Suggestions ?

my friend has p800 and for 10 days couldnt figure out why his battery goes
after a day.......

the thing is that you need a piece of software(i dont know the name but you
will know what to look for now)similar to task manager in windows. it will
show all running programs on mobile phone, the thing is that programs does
not shutdown after you close them and keep running in background. Procesor
works for a whole day and battery drains. after he found that little utility
battery now lasts 3 to 4 days....

Had P900 sold today - it performed way
below expectations.
