P900 and communication error message when trying to update from SE site

Hi there,

Followed the instructions switched phone off put it on Sync cradle then next
on the update firmware and the phone switches on and then off then says
something like ready to update press 'update' then I just get an 'error in
communications with the device' message then told to remove battery and
start over.

Of course same problem occurs any thoughts as to what I could be doing
wrong.

The phone does Sync and current Organiser is R2B02, Phone R3C006, CDA R2C01.

Hi there,

Been there and to Esato but nothing about my specific error message.

Anyway uninstalled the SE updater and downloaded it again from the SE web
site and it worked must have got a corrupted file.

Have now managed to update my phone.
