Great phone, reliable and versatile, they have thought of everything
    connectivity-wise...

But what about those photos? Is it just me or are they always blurred?

    TIA

    It's not just you :-)

There's a knack to it. You have to hold the phone very still after you have
taken the picture until the "please wait" disappears.

I find the results depend a LOT on light conditions and of course how still
you hold the camera. Also, consider that it is not really designed for
taking long-distance shots - stick to subjects that are close by. You can
get quite useable results although dont expect it to replace a regular
camera (have to wait a mobile-phone generation or two for that)

Perfect, took me a while to figure it out!

Plus getting the firmware upgraded if currently on R1x.

Yes I was aware of the slight lag, but how does a firmware upgrade improve
    things?

The pictures on a Nokia 7250 are definitely better than my T610, as I
send some pictures back and forth with a 7250 owner. Theirs were much
clearer and colour balance was better too(more natural looking). In
my opinion the camera and the screen are the only thing that lets down
the T610, and the screen is fixed with the T630. But from what I have
read the T630 camera is basically the same as the T610 :-( Guess I'll
have to wait for the T650!

T630 isn't too much of an improvement on the old one IMO. Even so, I am
still really looking forward to the next one!

To protect the small enterprise from bigger companies.

    What do Software Patents do?
In its current form, they protect only companies with
    big legal departments as they:
a.) Patent everything no matter how general
b.) Sue everybody. Even if the patent can be argued
invalid, small companies can ill-afford the
typical $500k cost of a law-suit (not to mention
    years of harassment).

Don't let them take away your right to program

Improved quality, smaller file sizes, better responsiveness.
