I want to start using a T610 phone and move away from my nokia 6590. The
Nokia seems to store its SMS's on the phone and not on the sim card. Moving
the messages to other folders just moves messages within the phone and not
to the SIM.
There are a couple messages that I'd like to be able to move to a new
phone... anyone have any experience as to how to do this?
Thanks!

If you have a data cable, then you could be able to do it with alot of the
software that they have on the web.
Or maybe you could send the messages to yourself, then remove the SIM card
before your phone could check for messages. Then when you put it in the new
phone, then the incoming messages will be on your new phone.

Which Nokia phone are you talking about? I know that my old 3510 had a
folder called Archive, which was basically the SIM card, try that if you
have it...
