AT&T is offering free T226 to replace my T68i. I don't know if T226 is any
better than T616/610, which I planned to acquire by switching to another
    wireless carrier.

Does anyone know any site showing a comparison chart among the 3 phone? If
T226 is better than T68i and almost like T610/616, I might stay but if about
the same as T68i. I doubt why I should spend the efforts in exchange.
After all my T68i is unblocked and can be used in other countries by putting
in a sim card purchased from that country.

Unless I've overlooked something the T226 is clearly aimed at the yoof
market, with gimmicky polyphonic ringtones and a camera that's about as
useful for taking real photos as a chocolate teapot.

On the other hand, the T68i has tri-band support, bluetooth, infra-red and
and a built in modem and is a useful communication device in many ways. A
camera can always be added, if you must, or just get a T610 or T630 if you
want it all in one package. Go for the T630 if you want a screen you can
read in sunlight and improved signal strength.

Save the T226 for the kids.

So if someone doesn't need bluetooth, international roaming, and a built in
modem they must be a kid?
