Does anyone know how to upload a WAV file to a sony ericsson phone? MatrixM
allows you to upload a wav file then they convert it to some kind of file
and throw it in a locker for you to download. I think the file type might
be a QCP file but I am not sure. Anyone done this before? If so, please
share the wealth! Incidentally, I have a T226. Any help or clues would be
appreciated.

If MatrixM is able to convert a wav file into a file that is acceptable to
the phone, then that means you can. The technology is obviously out there,
or they wouldn't be able to do it. The key point is, what file format is
it. The more I have dug into it, the more it looks like Sony might be using
the AMR file format. I have found a converter that will convert the file,
but am still looking for a means of transfer. My most reliable transfer
means (3G Upload) does not support that extension. I know this format is
what is used on the t610, so I am assuming it might be the same for the
T226.

Re: Uploading a Wav file to phone
Try converting to a "amr" format file then using "sendfile" from
christersson.org
I'm about to try this out...
