    I use a Sony-Ericsson Z600 mobile telephone, a HP laptop with Bluetooth
support, Outlook 2000 and XTNDconnect PC, the version that came with my
    Z600.

To synchronize the mobile telephone's and the laptop's calendars, I do this:

    1. Open "My Bluetooth Places" on the Windows desktop.
    2. In "My Bluetooth Places", I connect the Bluetooth serial port by
    double-clicking on that icon.
    3. In Outlook's "Synchronize" menu, I click on "Synchronize Now".

Sometimes the Bluetooth serial port disconnects during the synchronization,
and I have to start over from step 1.

If the synchronization was successful, the Bluetooth serial port connection
is always disconnected directly after that.

Does anybody know if XTNDconnect PC is supposed to disconnect the Bluetooth
serial port after successful synchronization, or could this be a fault?

    Anders

    It's not supposed to disconnect.

Try floAt's Mobile Agent <http://fma.sourceforge.net/> instead.

Mine does, and that is exactly what I want.

Does it connect by itself too? That is exactly what I want.

I can start a synch from XTNDConnect, and it will find the phone on it's
own, if that is what you mean.
