Sony Ericsson V800

I recently purchased this phone and was wondering how I go about
uploading message tones to it.

Can anybody help?

unfortunately, this is impossible. The SonyEricsson V800 only allows to
select from the 6 built in message alerts.

AFAIK, on the upcoming models K750i and W800 you will be able to set any
(MIDI / MP3) ringtone as message alert.
(IMHO SonyEricsson realized quite late that customization is a very
important subject with cellphones...)
