I'd like my P910i to be able to play through my car stereo whilst in its
HCA20 cradle. Anyone know what the formal name of the jack plug size
that is needed to fit the phone so I can wire it in ?

I think it's a 1.6 mm jack

Do you mean play as in the music player, or plat as in voice calls?
If latter then use the advanced music mute - that's exactly what it
does in mt HCA20. IF teh former, the please advise, as I'm in the same
boat!! Rintones, MP3s etc don't play through HCA20...

Re: P910i speaker out jack size
I have the advanced music mute, but sadly this won't let me play music
on my P910i amplified through my radio/cassette. Instead, I intend to
use the headphone jack sound out on the phone and plug into the cassette
via one of those dummy tape cassettes you can but in supermarkets these
days. Problem is the jack plus is very small and not intuitive how to
classify when ordering adapters.

Like I said you need to measure the diameter of the jackplug. 2.5mm is the
normal type jackplug you find on most portable devices, but the smaller ones
you see are 1.6mm (stereo)

Re: P910i speaker out jack size
Success has now been attained using part no . FA94C from Maplin this
being a 2.5-3.5 Stereo Adptr.
