Hi,

I use a k700i which has vodafone software. I had the simlock removed and
can use it with my own provider now, still got the vodafone software/menu's
but that doesn't bother me.

However I can't use mp3's as a ringtone and the battery drains in a day.
Seems a software/flash upgrade will solve both issues and you can have that
done at a vodafone centre. I did the >*<<*<* on the phone and in the
service menu it says the software version is R2A041 which is old so I read.

But I'm afraid with a software upgrade the simlock will be reinstalled....
does anyone know if this is true?
