Hi there,
I just purchased the K750i and had a need to do a Master Reset.
This has cleared out the factory ringtones (what else has been removed apart
from the demo video?)
How can I reload the factory shipped ringtones (and anything else) that has
been deleted from my K750i please?

Re: K750i - restoring factory ringtones?
Hi Pete,
Thanks for the reply.
No it was purchased as a SIM free, unbranded handset.
When I first set up the 'phone with an O2 PAYG SIM I noticed other ringtones
and a demo video amongst other things.
When I had problems with setting up email and missing my Line 2 service
etc.I reverted to my Orange Pay Monthly SIM and to save any confusion with
the O2 settings I had already input I performed a Master Reset.
That was when I noticed the missing ringtones, demo video, themes etc. and
was wondering what else may have been deleted and how to restore everything?
With both the O2 & Orange SIMS I was also wondering if there was any way to
not set a theme as in both cases it defaulted to Eternal but before the
reset there were more to choose from...
Thanks & regards,

That's what a master reset does! I'm not sure if the extra stuff you
require is on the CD as I've never looked at the ones that come with the
phone. Far be it from me to recommend using something like edonkey but a
search on there might prove helpful!!

If you can remeber the names of the ringtones you need to reload, try to
find them here : http://www.myk750.lasyk.net/K750i/Ringtones/

One surefire way would be to upgrade the firmware!
However, sony ericcson update service (SEUS - www.sonyericsson.com) has
changed, and it appears to keep your pictures and ringtones on it, whereas
before it would wipe the handset and change it to a 'factory state' with all
the default ringtones etc.
Worth a go, no? Go to the support section of their website. You'll need to
use the cable that came with the phone.
