Hi
I was a bit surprised to find out that my w900i doesnt support the A2DP
standard, which would enable it to function with wireless stereo
headsets.. This is supposed to be a walkman?
Does anyone know/have a guess what the SE plan is to support (or not)
wireless stereo headphones in the future, for the current walkmans?
Cheers

I do believe certain mobile phones and smartphones, pda-styley things, etc,
can have their firmware updated (the software that runs to make them work,
basically) to adopt this a2dp standard; but perhaps some just can't due to
memory restrictions, etc.
I'm not clued up on this standard and it's hardware requirements, but it
could just be manufacturers dont' want to roll out firmware upgrades as it
will mean you'll stick with your current phone when you desire this stereo
upgrade; which would stop you buying their latest handsets, and getting new
phones a couple of times a year is exactly what they want.
Which is better for programming Linux or Ubuntu?
