Does anybody know how to solve this problem:
I'm using my K750i with a BT headset (B-Speech plus) and sometimes at
home with a BT dongle (LevelOne MDU-0025USB). Everything works fine, but
after a while my phone hangs. It doesn't accept any keystrokes any more.
All I can do then is releasing the battery and turning it on again. I
don't really know, but I think that this problem has begun after i
upgraded the phone's software to the latest version. Well, can anybody
help me? Is it possible do make a software downgrade?
Thanks a lot,
Martin

Press the following key combination to see what software version you have on
your mobile:

the arows mean right and left, respectively. The * is the 'star' key.
R1AA008 is the latest firmware, and apparently fixes issues with bluetooht.
Try upgrading via www.sonyericsson.com 'SEUS' (sony ericsson update service)
and see how it goes, it's worth a go! :-)

Thanks for this very interesting key combination! It worked, after a
little correction...

Well, as I already knew before, I am using the latest software version.
This doesn't seem to help me. I will try to re-upgrade once again. Maybe
the update was not completed correctly, allthough I didn't get an error
message... And - as I wrote before - I really do think, that these
problems have only begun after i upgraded to the latest software version...
strange!

Oops, apologies about the key combination, must've mis-typed it originally!
I find ra11008 fine with bluetooth; do you have the generic install of
firmware, or is it customised by o2, vodafone, orange, etc? I find generic
best personally, but individual tastes and so forth.
It could just be the devices you are connecting to; is power-saving mode on
or off? You could try switching it on to only allow 1 bluetooth connection,
and start from there. Certainly very strange however!

No problem. The first keystroke (arrow key to the right >) made my
newsreader display it as it was a quote sign... with a little bit of
thinking I got it right ;-)

I think it's not really generic. I've got german "E-Plus" as my
provider. It says something like
---
Modification/Customization (don't know the exact translation) CDA
102338/ 19 R 18A cxc 125953 E 1AA008 E_PLUS
---
> It could just be the devices you are connecting to; is power-saving mode on

But I solved it! Let me tell you how: As I wrote before, I thought that
something went wrong with an earlier update of the firmware. So I tried
it once again and did my update with the SEUS tool.
Everything looked good. And I did not touch my phone during the process
- like it was written there ;-) And now: Everything is fine! No
bluetooth problems anymore!
This time the update must have been REALLY successful, because I can
definitely see a change in the behaviour of my phone: When you send a
message by SMS, you can see a little status bar in the display during
the sending process. Before, when I had my bluetooth problems, there was
no moving cursor inside this status bar.
But now, after that successful update, there is one. It's the way it
shuld be, I think! This let's me believe, that only after the latest
update the software really works correctly.
So, despite of that: Thanks a lot, Taylor!
By the way, can you explain me, how this "DaVinci SonyEricsson Remote
Unlocking and Flashing" works and for whom it might be useful?
Regards,
Martin

Re: K750i hangs while using Bluetooth
Seems there was a 2 week period at Sony Ericsson in malaysia where the
wrong resistors were used on the bluetotthe circuit in the K750i and the
W800i.
If your phone was built from Monday 05W40 to Tuesday 05W41, then it will
be affected. There was 11700 phones built in that period.
If yours is one of those, it has to be taken to a Sony Ericsson service
center to be repaired.
If you need to find out for sure, i have a list of the affected IMEI
numbers in an excel file.

Any chance you could send me that list too?
We have some K750i in our firm, which hangs sometimes - especially when
using BlueTooth.

Sorry, Ken, but could you send the list to me, too? I asked for it by
sending a message to your personal e-mail address, but it seems to me,
that this was not your real address...
