unlock code for sony w600i

Hi I called Cingular yesterday and informed them that I'm going to
Europe for 2 weeks. They freely gave me an unlock code for my w600i,
perhpas this will be helpful to someone else.

Code:
9684127216475961

instructions

take sim card out
left arrow
* *
enter code at prompt

after entering code, message says network unlocked.

I don't know if this works for every 600i but i hate to see anyone pay
for something free.

I've also read that you should not try this more than 5 times or it
locks for good, but I dont know if it's true

It only works with your phone. Each phone has a specific unlock code.
