P800 Jog-Dial Rotating Problem

I have had my P800 for 1 day and the jog dial no longer works.

I don't know if it is something I have turned off or if it can be
switched back on but a full master reset and restore has not solved
the problem.

I can push it in OK and flick it up and down OK but when I rotate it,
no joy!

Any ideas appreciated

Hi Julio, I think since it's only a day old, you should take it back to
point of purchase so that they can OBF(out of box failure) where it can be
replaced for you.

Picking the new one up this afternoon. Phoned SE who answered the call
within about 2 rings of the IVR options, I thought the guy was a
recorded voice it was so quick.

He said it was a defect and there was nothing that I could do about it
as far as re-loading software was concerned.
