T68i Firmware Update Report

Updated mine (T-Mobile) to R8A015

Menus noticably faster, WAP browser much faster, actually useful. Text =
font in WAP is now SE light blue color.

GPRS connection and speed is more responsive.

MCA25 camera now supports zoom and picture enhancements too.

Highly recommend updating. Crime is they shouldn't be charging users =
for this!

Within the 1 year warranty period, they don't.

Not much point in reporting your comparative experience unless you also
inform us of your previous FW version. It's no big deal if the gains
were from R2A but it's another story if it's from R6A...
