I just purchased two new items; a Palm Tungsten T3 and a Sony-Ericsson T616
phone. The common feature is that they are both Bluetooth enabled.
I can, from what I've read, link the two items then dailup to my Speakeasy
account through the cell phone to access my email, and the net. Both items
are less than a week old. At this point I've been able to bluetooth both of
them together. each unit recognizes the other. When I try, using "Phone
Link", a palm application, the phone begins dailing and then times out. I
get a "No Carrier" error.
In the "Phone Link" setup, I input the correct dailup information, (DSN #,
ect), and even checked them with a speakeasy tech rep. Still nothing. I am
confident that this will resolve itself, the palm T3 unit has been on the
market for only a week, and the phone is just as new.
The questions I have are these: 1. what part of the solution is not workling
(Palm, Phone or Speakeasy) 2. Has anyone else run into this problem? 3. How
do I fix it?
Any help would be appreicated.

Who is your cellular service provider? If it's ATT then you cannot use it as
you described. You can use it with the T3 to dial into the ATT GPRS data
account (which you will have to activate with ATT) and then access your
SpeakEasy mail in that manner.
I have been doing this all week while I was out of town. I use Earthlink but
the concept is the same. If you are not using ATT then it may be a simple
case of getting a data account activated with your cellular provider.
Cheers

is when will ATT offer an unlimted data account plan? This 3 cents a Kb crap
is killing me.
