Hi all,
I just got an Ericsson T68i brand new from the orange.co.uk website,
i would like to know how i could unlock it to accept other SIM cards.
I would like to know if i could do so using the infra red option.
TIA

At the moment, there are two methods of unlocking the T68i:-
1. Send us (or any reputable unlocker) your handset.
2. Using a T28 programming cable, and a logging service, you could unlock
the phone from home. To be honest, unless you already have the correct
cable, you would more than likely find it cheaper to have the phone unlocked
via the first method.
There is a remote unlocking solution on the horizon, but it's not been
launched yet, nor is there any known release date. As for IR, that is
definately not possible.

Not currently. We were testing a remote unlocker, but were under strict
instructions not to use it commercially.
