Any ideas as to why whenever I try send a ringtone to my mate's Nokia 6100
or his 7250i via infrared it gets as far as saying "sending" for a brief
second, then i get "unable to transfer file"?
It works perfectly when infraredding stuff to my gf's T610. And AFAIK both
Nokia's support polyphonic ringtones (.mid), and both have dynamic memory.
Cheers

I don't think you can send anything from a SE/// phone to a Nokia.
The other way seems to work. It's a Nokia issue.

The OP is having trouble sending a ringtone from his Z600... It's not
immedaiatly obvious that this is a Nokia only issue (althought it may
be).
My immeadiate thought would be that the format of the ringtone may not
be the same. I belive the Z600 used MIDI files, and the OP seems to
think the Nokia's do too but there may be some mistake.
David.
