T68i "no" button

Hi,

I have had a t68i for a while now and unfortunately it is out of warranty.

Just today my 'no' button has stopped working unless I press it really
hard - very annoying! I opened the phone up and cleared out all the dust,
carefully peeled off the white surface on the motherboard and made sure no
dust had penetrated under there and I now find it only works when the keypad
is loosely placed on the motherboard.

Once i enclose it with the cover and screw it all back together again I am
back to the same old problem. Clearly the button is somehow damaged on the
motherboard.. but how hard would this be to repair?

By the way this hasnt been dropped, dunked in water or anything like that ..
this has just happened through daily use and one day it gave up

Use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts (both on the motherboard and on
the underside of the white plastic sheet) and then use either alcohol or
contact cleaner to finish the job. Worked for me!
