I thought my attached voice names to callers was much louder
when I 1st had the phone.. almost like a ring tone volume.. (the phone would
ring and announce someone if I had a voice ID attached to the callers name -
and I would hear "THE NAME" fairly loud). Now, I heard it through my ear
piece loud but not the speaker.

Does someone out there have the T610 set up with voice ID's, and can they
tell me if it's somewhat loud when the phone rings - not through the
headset. Maybe I have a setting wrong in my phone, OR I was mistaken in the
    beginning.

    Thanks

I have mine set up with voice IDs but they are very quiet and it's difficult
to hear which name is being announced unless you're very close to the phone
    when it rings

Do you have a headset with cable?
With my Bluetooth-Headset (HBH-60), I don't hear the name on the headset,
but quietly in my pocket :-((

I tried different things, but the BT-headset just "rings" in it's own stupid
    way, when someone calls...

I do use the headset with cable - I like the button on the headset to make
calls and end calls (similar to the BT200 headset I had)... but when I tried
the BT200 headset, it worked fine, but would not connect quick enough when
the phone rang so I could hear the name - not a large issue with me, just an
observation - as you do hear the name, I suspect your headset is not
    connecting fast enough either.

    Hi sc,

It's not an issue about the connecting time, I hear the name of the caller
out of the T610's speaker (not very loud, though) and the Bluetooth Headset
just does a ringing noise (as always). It seems to me as if the bluetooth
headset can't do anything else than this ringing tone when a call comes in
    :-(

If the bluetooth connection is made very very fast, the headset would still
just "ring" on its own and the T610 would do the proper ringtone (midi) and
    the caller name.

    Anyway: happy holydays

This is different that what I thought as my BT headset did not answer quick
enough for me to think the callers name would come through..
