v180 cingular

I want to delete the ringtones that came with this phone. I have Mpt
and its working fine for transferring things to an from the phone, but
there is no option to get rid of the crap or download ringtones I paid
for. They all have a lock symbol next to them. Can anyone help?

Download the p2k manager software (DO a google search) and change the file
attribute on the files in question , then you can delete them from the phone
as you would any other tone.

I see the atribute button, but what do I put in the box to change?
I'd rather ask stupid questions than screw the phone up. I cant find
anything in the forums to explain it.

I cant seem to get phone tools to work...It just doesnt see the
phone....Ahhhh any ideas?

first did you go into the settings to have it look for your phone model if now then do that and the program will work
