Oh joy, I get to carry two cell phones now.
What's the expectation of talk time and standby time on the Motorola 730
using the highest capacity lithium-ion battery Motorola makes available
for this phone? I'm getting close to 10 days standby time with my little
Nokia 6200, but the Motorola doesn't appear to be offering that much
    time on standby.

    Thanks!

My personal experience is a lot better than using the regular battery !! standby by time is about 7 to 8 days and talk time is a lot more !! I would say more than 4 hrs straight ! now you have to take in consideration that I'm not using the Extended network, currently I'm roaming ! so if you really use your phone my advice is to go ahead and but the lithium battery !! it's worthy !

Thanks. I'm keeping a close eye on the battery life. I do have the
extended life lithium-ion battery. A week on standby and four hours of
    talk time would be sufficient.

Re: Experience with battery life on the 730?

Once again from personal experience is that it seems that I get more charge when I let the battery go almost dry ! and the recharge ! I don't keep my phone on the charger all the time just then I hear the beep telling me that the battery is really low then I recharge! but like I said it's just my personal opinion !
