Has anyone definitively used their standard U.S. Nextel phone in
Israel? I have an i90c, and according to this page it should work:
http://nextelonline.nextel.com/servi...try_list.shtml
Israel lists "Internet-Ready Phone" AND the i2000plus. A footnote
describes an "Internet-Ready Phone" as one of "i95cl, BlackBerry
6510TM, i90c, i88s, i85s, i80s, i60c, i55sr, i50sx, i35s, i30sx,
i1000plus, i700plus, i550plus or r750plus."
Further, my i90c has a "0+" key, required in the "Using your phone
abroad" instructions to dial out of the country you are in.
This leads me to believe that if I have Customer Care activate
Worldwide service, the phone should work.
I'll post my own experience after my trip, but I am hoping someone has
done this before me.

Re: North American Nextel Phone Usage in Israel
That requires the Nextel T730 phone. The T730 is really a roaming agreement
on I BELIEVE DT. Your Nextel IDEN phone will not work in Israel.

It won't. You need an international phone.
