I was wondering the same thing, basically since my contracts up I've been
wondering if I should get a new Nextel phone (i90 or i95cl don't really see
the point of a color display though) or wait until another provider comes out
with something that appeals to me. Anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm in
the Chicago area so opinions in or around that area would be appreciated.

For those of you with the i95cl's, what do you use them for? Can they be used
like little mini PDA's or something, or is the color screen just because?

    TIA

I sure hope Nextel and Motorola came create a phone with bluetooth. One of
the down falls of Nextel is the limit choice of handsets. Motorola iden
handsets seem to be a little behind in technology, features, and sizes.

Agreed. When all other cell companies are offereing phones with camera's,
.... for about half the price of a i95c. I dig nextel, just don't dig the
phones or the $400 price tags.

The Falcon series is supposed to make a showing in the later part of the
third quarter. You will probably see the I730 Falcon after September. It is
smaller than the I90. As for the cameras. You can get the camera for the I95
for around $30. Not bad pricing considering.

The one thing I don't like about the i95 or i90 is the size. Yes they are
the smallest that Nextel provides, but all other service providers offer a
much, much smaller and more compact flip phone.

I love the size of the i90c. If a try to use a phone that's smaller than
the i90c I find it troublesome. Perhaps it's just cause I have biggish
hands, but I'd hate to have something smaller.

I'm just curious as to why people like these phones that look and feel like
tiny children's toys? I mean yeah they're nice, but isn't it kind of awkward
being a grown man with a phone the size of a dog's chew toy in your hand
    casually walking down the street?

I like small phones that fit comfortably into paints or shirt pocket. Nokia
phones are just as well built as any Motorola.

The Motorola v60 series, offered by all other mobile providers execpt
Nextel, is a nice size phone.

I'm witchou man! I was looking at a tiny flip phone at a store yesterday
and instantly came to the conclusion that it'd be almost instantaneously
    lost after purchase.

I can picture myself walking around the house looking for my phone while the
whole time it's lodged in my butt crack.

They are? Can you casually walk out the back door, drop your Nokia and have
it bounce down 7 steps and land on asphalt, then pick it up and carry on
like nothing happened? (happened to me this morning)
