Yep.. Those basterds probably aren't touching it. I want to know why it
quit working. I think they did something to it and that's what messed it
    up.

I wish they would just leave the crap alone so people can get their business
    done..

It wasn't working Sunday evening but by 5am today it was back up. The
reason I got from customer service was that the gateway servers at
nextel.com were crashing and nobody could get email until it was fixed.

More than likely they rolled out some new software which wasn't stable.

Heh, funny, but not funny :-)

I'll be a Sprint Customer if they don't get it working here in the next day
or two.. This is f-ing rediculous. They should have people on it all day,
every day until it's working, or for gods sake call someone who can fix it.
People depend on this crap for work, if they can't depend on it, then what
else is there to keep the service for??? looks?? I think not!

    Re: Nextel Email

I hear you but think three times about switching to Sprint...I have several
co-workers with the service and it really bites - Mainly a lot of dropped
    and noisy calls.

They are all waiting for their contracts to end so they can switch.

    Re: Nextel Email

The story I got was that their 3rd party vendor that manages their
email service has not been able to get things fixed for over a week.

The agent indicated that Nextel was not happy with the vendor and
plans on replacing the offending technology ASAP. He also indicated I
could speak with Customer Service and request a credit for the down
email time and they would be glad to give it to me.
