Re: i85 software update
John, thanks for the tip. I have already disassembled the phone and cleaned
the contacts with alcohol and air spray. The contacts look clean with no
damage under the scope.
The phone is in working condition with direct connect and other features.
Is there other settings on the phone that i need to turn on? Or the firmware
is too old for the update to work?
Thanks,
Pacificwoods

Re: i85 software update
Sorry to have given you such a simple suggestion but you've got me =
stumped on that one.=20
The only thing I can recommend is you try taking it to an authorized =
service center and see if they can update it. You may have a defect in =
the phone or it may be malfunctioning in some way. If there is a =
problem, they should be able to trade out the phone for a small charge.

Re: i85 software update
I don't have a hardware contract with Nextel, will they do the update for
free?
