    There is a coverage map on the nextel site:

    http://nextel.com/services/coverage/index.shtml

    It doesn't have a lot of pretty colors on it, and you have to actually
    dig into it, but it provides pretty detailed maps of their network coverage.

    I appreciate the help... but I would need to know the zip codes of every
    area I plan to travel to. And, well... I don't. I don't know if I'm a
    below average consumer, but I'm not all that excited about having to
    research 20+ zip codes so I can check whether or not Nextel provides
    service there when it would appear that all the other carriers show
    their coverage in the form of a national coverage map. It somewhat
    limits the amount I can research them as a carrier in comparison to
    their competition. For me, that was enough to dissuade me from looking
    further into their service. I'd rather not have to do more work than I
    need to.

    Actually I dont care for the national maps that ATTWS and VZW have.
    Nextel's maps are more accurate-

    How tough is it to find the closest city and get a state or regional map.

    An admitted vealot-

    Actually I dont care for the national maps that ATTWS and VZW have.
    Nextel's maps are more accurate-

    How tough is it to find the closest city and get a state or regional map.
