Does anyone know how to read the information displayed in "trace mode"?
I know some of the information is the site ID and signal strength, but
the rest is unknown. Any help is appreciated.
Information format:
System Status
30.75 3E9-8
00db -83 0
+28 +0 0
Thanks,
Terry

Re: SYSTEM STATUS??
the first # ( 30.75 ) is your sqe ( signal quality estimator )
the 3E9-8 changes between to different things, the first few times it
flashes it is giving you the code of the tower you are serving off of.
The first # on the second line is your uplink status, usually never better
than -26db unless your standing on the top of the tower. 00db being the
smallest signal.
the second # on the second line is the downlink status, usually never better
than -55 , and 110 and above is worthless
the + 28 is the internal operating temperature of the phone in celcius . the
+0 is the amount of change the temp has made in the last 2 seconds.
i have no idea what the last number is, its always been 0 ever time i check.
if you really want to know i can look it up.
