I don't think you're gonna find much better than that without
activation/contract. Go to www.letstalk.com i hear they have good
    deals.

One thing to keep in mind- Let's Talk is owned by Nextel.

That is why the majority of the Let's Talk stores transformed into
Nextel Retail Stores all of a sudden. Let's Talk used to be in select
malls, but it's now a Nextel-owned Retail Store, 100% Nextel "booty".

I got three from Nextel for $180 each but I got a govt discount.

Check with Nextel and see if your company qualifies for any
discounts. Most of the larger companies do. All you have to
do is show your employee ID to qualify for the discount.

ah. Ok. We weren't with them before. We ported over from AT&T

The price of the i730 at the Nextel website is $249.99.

The i730 is available for $179.99 to persons working for large corporations
which have Nextel Corporate Accounts. Under that program, Nextel will not
waive the $35.00 Activation Fee nor the $8.50 Shipping Fee. So, for a
    better deal, read on:

I just got an i730 for my wife under the Delta SkyMiles Program (and similar
deals may be available to persons in other frequent flyer programs).

My wife pays $249.99 for the i730 less a $25.00 credit on her first bill
= $224.99, and she gets 7,000 Delta SkyMiles! I added on a Car Charger
(which costs $25 to $30) for $1.00 and an Earpiece for $1.00. Also, for
referring my wife to Nextel, I get a $25.00 Credit on my next Nextel monthly
bill. After I asked, they waived the $35.00 Activation Fee, but would not
waive the FedEx (1 to 3 Bus. days) Shipping Fee of $850. My wife's i730 was
ordered last Friday around noontime and was delivered Monday right after
    lunchtime.

The link from the Delta SkyMiles webpage to Nextel has not been working
lately, so to get this deal, call 877-607-9002 or 877-809-4748.
