Hi,
Ayone know if a Nokia 6310i with Orange will work in Antigua?
Two issues:
(1) Is there a GSM tri-band service there?
(2) Is there one with Orange roaming agreement?
If (1) Yes (2) No then presumably I should get the phone unlocked and buy a
PAYG SIM when over there.
TIA

My 6310i on O2 worked in Antiga. It's 1900 MHz and coverage is good.

Re: Ayone know if a Nokia 6310i with Orange will work in Antigua?
Antigua has two GSM nets which are currently running - one on the 900mhz
band and one the North American 1900mhz. Cable and Wireless is in the
process of implementing a third network which will be going live very
shortly. It is on the new 850mhz. Your phone can access two out of the
three networks.
Using your phone is pricey. It costs 80p a minute to receive calls and 130p
a minute to place a call.
