I am currently working on a project which involves developing an SMS
API to interface to some of my applications (mostly written in php).
The SMSC's which we would be connecting to has SMPP 3.3/SMPP 3.4
    installed.

I am looking for a middelware component which would allow me to
connect my applications to the Short Messaging Service Centers (SMSCs)
    of mobile networks.

I found some products for linux platform on the net. But I need some
advice (from your own experience) on any good products available on
    the market.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    regards

Re: SMS API for linux platform

You may want to try service available at www.ipipi.com. I was able to
connect my corporate application to global SMS network in less than an hour.
They got a very easy to use API and pricing is OK.

    Hope this helps,
