    Hello,

I am working on a project that involves computer-phone data
    exchange
and I have encountered some problems working with some Nokia models,
    that
require urgent solution, and I thought of kindly asking your
    assistance in
this matter. Some models [mostly Symbian ones] didnt support some
    basic
modem AT commands for reading smses and contacts from the phone. The
    only
solution i see at this moment would be to write an application for the
phone that would gather the information I need and then send it back
    to
the PC where I can store it in a local database.

I am interested in some code snippets that read a contact from
the Nokia phone, and I am also interested in a way of comunication
phone<->pc. I am familiar to MS Visual C++, but the code I saw in a
simple application (Hello World) for a Series 60 Symbian phone was
    very different.

    Thank you and best regards,

All the advice I can give is that Nokia has a developer community website
and user forum at http://www.forum.nokia.com/ .

You might have better luck getting help there, because this NG is mostly an
    end-user forum.
