02 Customer Service Tel Number

Can anyone out there give me a customer services telephone number for
O2 - one which isn't a short dial for people already on their network.
My phone is supposed to switch over today from Orange and I need to
get in touch with them about roaming. Have trawled through their site
and can't find a number anywhere!

It all depends who your o2 service provider is. There is no central
Cust Services no for o2...

You are about to realise why people are leaving O2 in droves. You might
have checked uk.telecom.mobile first!

With any luck, it won't be too late for you to get out of your contract.
Otherwise, accept my sincere condolences as you begin your quest to deal
with O2 'customer services'.

I have had 2 o2 phones since the days of Cellnet (i.e. Pre BT-Cellnet)
and although they are both through different service providers I have
not had a single problem with customer services of either.

Carphone Warehouse.

both numbers quoted so far (0870 444 3333 & 08705 860 860) are for o2
direct. if you are with CPW there is a different number. if you can wait
until this time tommorrow I will get you the number (if someone doesn't post
the correct one in the mean time)

I've had nothing but nightmares from them! I had received an 02 SIM not
with a mobile but with a gprs pcmcia card. all I had to do was register it.
Had the number direct from Dell to 02s customer services but got the run
around.. Always on hold and everytime I got to speak to someone, they gave
me another number.... it was number after number!!!

anyways... as far as I know..

0870 225 6869 02 sales
0870 567 8678 02 business
0808 100 9250 02 business sales
0800 028 8020 02 pay as you go

there's 3 more I was given but I really don't want to post it as I have no
idea what department it is.. am still not sure the numbers I have posted are
to the correct dept. but they are 02..

am with orange but am looking for another sp that uses different
frequency..... vodaphone next I think

Oh not many people, just anyone with an O2 account that has the audacity to
expect that 'customer service' means more than simply ignoring all contact
from paying customers.
