Hi,
I have just bought a Nokia 6600. I have notice a tiny black spot on
the display. I first thought that it was a dead pixel, but it seems
that a small grain of dust has settled down in the inside of the
display window (the spot moves according to the LCD when it tilt the
phone, which proves that it's not a dead pixel).
Does anyone else have this problem? - is there anyway to fix it?
Best regards
JASE

Hmmmm, bummer.
Could try a can of compressed air on the front of the screen then take the
battery off and see if can get through to the front from the back to
dislodge it.
I doubt it will but its worth a shot.
Otherwise have a moan at the retailer.
HTH,
Damo

Re: Nokia 6600: Dust behind the display?
Dust a thought....
Doesn't the front cover just unclip (with care!)?
I have seen replacement front and rear covers for the 6600, and wouldn't
have "thought" that it would be a torque driver jobbie.
I'll leave that with you as a thought
Good luck
(it may only be a small speck of dust, but I'm sure it must be "bloody
annoying")
Cheers

Re: Nokia 6600: Dust behind the display?
Tap the phone really hard against the palm of your hand (if dust is not
sticked too hard, it'll fall off; I had the same problem and this solved
it).
