Hi,
Trying to send an image ( well, tried every file format ) over IR from a
6230 to a 7250i.
6230 comes up with 'Sending Failed' every time.
Googled abuot, and found naming/renaming the MMC card sometimes solves the
problem - not in my case unfortunately.
Does anyone have any experience with this problem?
Forking out for the phones hasn't left much in the kitty for a DKU-2 & 5,
so would like to exchange files with the missus over IR.
Many thanks,
M

7250i is able to send only business card or appointments over Ir. So you're
out of luck with any multimedia type files as music, ringtones, images or
video. 7250i is simply not accepting them... Sorry...

Hello mate, thanks for your reply.
You kind of imply 7250i cannot send media files..
But, you also imply it cannot accept such files. ( over IR )
If you could just clarify this, you'll be doing me a great favour.
My biggest need is for the unit to 'accept' files over IR, before I go hunt
down a cable for such.
Thanks again,
M

Yes, that's true. You cannot send/receive multimedia files over infrared
connection of 7250i.
