    Hi,

I am trying to send a file to my Nokia 6230 phone using bluetooth.
Everything works well except that it seems to only send it to the
phone's main memory. The problem is that I have a 256MB flash mmc card
in the phone and the phone's memory is only 8.8MB. Is there any way to
send a file directly to the memory card or do I have to split up
everything so that it can fit in 8.8MB before then saving it to flash
    memory.

Using what software? I use a DKU2 cable and PCSuite 6.2 and have managed to
send a 220Mb mp3 file to the card without issue. Card shows up in the
gallery and I can do a copy and paste in Windows Explorer.

    Hi,

I am using gnome-bluetooth/nautilus under Linux and am simply dragging
and dropping the file to the phone icon. Do you know what technology
you are using? I think I am doing an OBEX push (?). I suspect there is
some other way of sending files which would work and if I knew the
technical name I could get it working under Linux.

    Cheers,

Cheers to you too!!! Thanks a f*cking bunch! What an absolute helmet you
turned out to be!!! If you wanted to get in touch mail me and don't copy
your message to a newsgroup with my address plainly in the header. Are you
some sort of idiot? Now thanks to you I have a compromised e-mail address
that I will need to employ further anti spam measures to protect. And I was
trying to help you as well.

Thanks for nothing [email protected] . See your Oxford education
hasn't done much for your quota of good sense.
