I can unlock most Nokias using the software that is arround on the Net, but
is it possible by typing in the same sort of code to RE-LOCK the phone to a
    network.

    Just interested.

    Many Thanks

Yes, but why would you want to..?

One such reason would be if you bought the phone on contract and it was
locked to one particular network but you wanted to use it on another network
and had it unlocked. If you then discovered a fault on the phone or wanted
the firmware upgrading under the 12 months warranty then you would have to
re-lock it to the original network as shops such as Carphone Warehouse won't
touch a phone that's had the network locks tampered with.

It shouldn't make any difference. The service centre will more than likely
not even bother to check if the phone has been unlocked, and even if they
do, for all they know it could have been unlocked using codes purchased from
the network provider. As for CPW refusing to flash an unlocked handset, the
same rules apply - if it's under warranty and they're an official CNSC you
    shouldn't have any problems.
