I have a SIM that I have used in a couple of Nokia phones including a 6600
and my current 6310i.
There is one directory entry that refuses to come up with the callers name
when he calls me, it only displays the number.
I have tries deleting the entry and recreating it using the incoming number
fater I receive a call from this person, changing memory from SIM to Phone
etc. etc.
Whatever I try I can not get the phone to bring up this person's name. Has
not always been like this as it used to bring up his name and all other
callers who have directory entries have their names come up OK.
This problem occurs in both phones mentioned above.
Any ideas?

The number (or only the last part of this number) is stored twice in your
directory.

You have the same number entered twice, with a different name, either on the
sim, or in the phone itself.
