Hi,
I am trying to convert an avi to 3gpp using Nokia Multimedia Converter,
however it claims the AVI is "unsupported".
I've seacrched highand low but cannot find an answer, does anybody know why?
The file plays fine and a similar error is displayed when I run it into
TMPGenc.
Thanks, Frank

Get the freeware utility AVIcodec from
http://avicodec.duby.info/
AVIcodec will analyse an AVI and tell you what codecs are required to play
it - it'll tell you the video codec and also the audio codec required.
If you don't have the codec installed then usually a quick search on Google
will give you a download link to get the codec.
If you have the codec installed then maybe the AVI is corrupt.
A possible fix would be to demux the video and audio streams to separate
files and then remux them.
Martin.
