    Hi,
A friend of mine gave me a DVD with loads of RealPlayer format movies that
work on my N-Gage. I was so impressed I'd like to put some of my own onto
it. Can anyone tell me how/where to look to find out, please? I can take
my DVDs to un-protected already using DVDX Copy Platinum onto the HDD, just
need to know how to get them into N-Gage RM format.

There's loads of guides on the internet covering converting movies to Real
format for the NGage (and other Nokia mobiles too).
    Here's one i found http://tinyurl.com/8pthr
As you can see from the guide there's no simple one click solution.
Bitrates and framerate have to be set as a balance between quality and
    filesize.
You must use the Real 8 video codec or the NGage won't playback the video.
(The NGage can be fussy about the audio codec too).

I gave up using Real format on my NGage and now use SmartMovie from:
    http://www.lonelycatgames.com/index....ter=smartmovie

With Smartmovie on my NGage i can playback a video encoded to AVI format
using DivX video with MP3 audio and it'll play.
(As long as resolution and bitrates aren't too high).
And i find the video quality of DivX superior to Real by a long way.

There's also TONS of freeware available that can be used to convert just
about any video to AVI format using the DivX and MP3 codecs.
www.videohelp.com is a great source of knowledge for video conversions - you
may want to pay it a visit.

    Martin.
