How do I connect my CK-7W car kit up to my VDO Dayton radio so that the
phone audio goes through the radio's speakers. The CK-7W is supposed to
have an Audio Out option, but all I can see is the power/earth/mute,
phone data, Control button, Mic and Speaker connectors. If I hook up
the speaker connection to the D1 (Telephone in) connector of the VDO
radio, will I dmage the radio since the speaker output is already
amplified? The radio has "hfree hi" and "hfree lo" settings for the
input, does this mean that if I set it to "hfree hi", that the radio
accepts amplified signals, as opposed to "hfree lo" unable to accept
amplified signals, a bit like the high level inputs for car amplifiers?

You will need to take the output from the speaker connection and feed
it into the hfree hi input. If you find the sound distorts you may
need to attenuate the signal from the car kit using resistors or a
volume control pot.
