Hi - My 6600 was eaten by a dog about 2 months ago :O So I used a 6800
for backup until I got a used 6600 a few days ago... So, on this used
6600 I just got there is a very very small black "sphere" just below
the battery indicator on the display, and I cannot figure out what it
means.
I suspect the previous owner had something turned on or configured
differently than default. I say this because so far the only way I can
answer a call is by hitting the button to the left of the joystick and
choosing "answer call" from a drop-down menu, and the only way I can
dial a number is hitting the same button and choosing "call" from a
drop-down menu (after inputting the digits of course)... I am pretty
sure on my other 6600 I could use the keys on each top end, left to
answer and right to hang up, could make/receive call without having to
use the joystick to choose an option.
I think these problems right be related to this sphere icon on my
display. I looked in the manual and have searched the web and cannot
find out what this symbol means. Please respond if you can help and
thanks in advance.
Peace! Jon

I'm sure the symbol you are referring to means bluetooth is switched on.

I would call our provider and ask them the codes to reset the phone to
it's default settings, that would eliminate the problem you are having
with it's functionality. The symbol you are asking about is most
likely the bluetooth indicator as previously suggested.

Oh thats the Bluetooth icon. It means it's active. Switch it off as it chews
your battery life.
