Does the DKU-2 USB cable also charge the phone?

I've got a 6230i and I'm interested in the DKU-2 cable, but mainly for the
purposes of charging the phone. I've looked on the Nokia website but I can't
find anything to say that it does this?

Any know - does it charge too or is it just for data transfer?

I hoped it would charge the phone too, but no.

I guess Nokia would have a reason not to charge from USB.

I bought an USB charger for my 6230i, so I don't think that's the case...
