Nokia 6680 Proxy settings/VPN

Hi,

I am trying to use my Nokia 6680 to tunnel all data traffic through a
vpn or proxy server. In the access point settings there is an option to
use a proxy server but it doesn't specify which sort. Despite looking
for documentation on this I have found nothing. Can somebody point me in
the right direction or tell me if it will connect to a socks or http
proxy or what?

If this doesn't provide a way of tunnelling at least IMAP and HTTP data
then I will need to create a VPN, can anyone point me in the direction
of any info on that.

Any general info about the above appreciated.
