I am trying to upload music to my 6230i using Nokia PC suite.

I click on the music manager and the splash screen for the app comes up, it
    then disappears and nothing happens.

Can I upload music to a 6230i and if so, what am I doing wrong.

What version of PC Suite are you using? v6.70 is available here
    http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,72014,00.html
then use Nokia Audio Manager which works fine for me.

    Hello!

We can suggest to have a look at Oxygen Phone Manager II (
http://www.opm-2.com/opm2/ ). Our program supports gallery management for
Nokia 6230i connected via DKU-2 cable (please, uncheck cable connection in
Nokia Connection Manager before running our software). The trial version
works in readonly mode with gallery section. If you need only gallery
management, you can register cheaper Lite version of Oxygen Phone Manager II
(data upload available for Gallery, MMS and SMS sections only). Individual
version provides full-featured data management (phonebook, calendar and
    to-do list uploads available).

You can download the latest free trial version here:
    http://oxygensoftware.com/en/downloa...p?ProductID=58

You can view Lite version features matrix here:

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

I dont use the nokia software to tranfer files, I simply explore the device
    and drag n drop ...

Maybe thats just a feature of the MSi bluetooth dongle though.

    Re: Pc Suite and 6230i

I resolved a lot of connection and "visibility" issues by removing PC Suite
then using Nokia's registry cleaner tool here
    http://www.europe.nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,84592,00.html before doing a
    complete re-install.
